I'm a yoga instructor and a life, grief, and wellness coach with a Master’s degree in Psychology. I believe that movement and mindset go hand in hand, and there is no real success without one or the other.
I've had the privilege of living in different places around the world – I've lived in 7 countries and visited 36. I understand the challenges of growth. Moving so much has taught me a lot about adapting, finding balance, and embracing change – lessons I’m still learning and applying every day.
These experiences guide how I support others, and if you're feeling called to create meaningful change, I’d be honored to walk beside you.
I started my life journey in Eastern Europe, and I was only 2 years old when I first moved to a new country. I was a shy and traumatized child who loved drawing, playing with dolls, and letting her imagination fly to change the world around her. Early on, I discovered the power of studying diligently – which I could never let go of. As an adult, through wonderful mentors and incredible books, I began to understand where my grief and deep empathy for others were coming from, and I started to take my healing journey seriously.
I earned my spiritual freedom and my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Szeged (Hungary). During that time, I got to spend a semester at KU Leuven (Belgium) which was truly a life-changing experience. I graduated with a Master of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) where most of my classes were held in German – a language I had just learned in 2 intense years prior, from zero to academic level. I interned at the Psychiatric Clinic in Debrecen (Hungary), and at a prominent research institute, the ETH Translational Neuromodeling Unit (Switzerland). I volunteered in hospitals and worked various jobs, from mentoring immigrant children to being a summer camp counselor abroad, all of which I loved, but slowly I found myself at the edge of burnout and without any significant self-care routines.
If you don't find time for yourself, your body will find it for you. Fatigue, migraines, gut issues, food intolerances, allergies, chronic back and neck pain... Sound familiar? This happened to me (even twice), and I couldn't ignore my physical symptoms anymore. I found yoga in the most stressful time of my life – and I finally felt something shift. It wasn't easy, but big changes followed my new choices.
Uncertainty is inevitable in life, but it strains the nervous system if everything feels uncontrollable. After my divorce, I found myself living alone during the pandemic, not knowing what my next step would be and when I could be reunited with my loved ones.
I decided to choose investing in myself. I took multiple yoga teacher trainings, participated in many coaching and other certificate programs, and started working from home. I went jogging, started taking dance lessons (but don't ask about them), and even went for a massage - me, the person who always has to do everything by herself.
I noticed that not only was I feeling the shift in my life, but my yoga clients were having quicker mental breakthroughs than my therapy clients. We can't ignore the body-mind connection – I came to the profound realization that for real change, I need to support my clients holistically. And I also need that in my life.
Nothing got easier on paper. I moved to the United States a couple of years ago, where I am still facing new challenges that require new tools and constant effort to improve. But the choices I make now make the healing journey truly healing.
I have the opportunity to grow alongside my husband, Sam. He is the Zen Master, the Tomato Guy, the person who researches and implements recipes to perfection, and he is my biggest cheerleader. He supports my well-being and hobbies like it is his day job.
We live together with two opinionated furry roommates – the most intelligent and loving cats I've ever known. Four different personalities under one roof that we all call home – in Draper, Utah.
